Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: oval, becoming diagonal anteriorly;
    Posterior margin: rounded and irregular;
    Ventral margin: slightly rounded, irregular, with a pit in each extreme;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed at extremes;
    Crista superior: poorly developed at extremes;
    Collum: absent;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Cauda: short and oblong;
    Ostium: approximately oval;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, anterior colliculum large and oval, posterior colliculum narrow, raised towards ventral edge;
    Excisura: poorly defined or absent;
    Antirostrum: poorly defined or absent;
    Rostrum: poorly defined or absent;
    Ventral depression: very shallow, narrow and elongate;
