Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: discoid in juvenile to rhomboidal in adult;
    Thickness: moderately thin;
    Form: -Mesial slightly flat;
    Form: -Lateral slightly convex;
    Dorsal margin: approximately rounded in juvenile to domed or anterior expansion and raised posteriorly in adult,;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: irregular;
    Ventral margin: rounded and sinuate to irregular;
    Posterior margin: rounded to sharplyrounded and irregular in adults;
    Sulcus acusticus: mesial, homosulcoid;
    Colliculum: homomorph, two colliculi almost equal in size and shape;
    Pseudocolliculum: elongate and ridge-like;
    Ostium: approximately oval;
    Cauda: elongate, colliculum oval;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: ventrally constricted;
    Collum: present and flat;
    Crista superior: a low ridge from mid-ostium to mid-cauda, poorly developed at extremes;
    Crista inferior: a low ridge from mid-ostium to mid-cauda, poorly developed at extremes;
