Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: oval;
    Thickness: thick;
    Form: -Mesial convex;
    Form: -Lateral slightly convex;
    Dorsal margin: slightly rounded;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: entire;
    Ventral margin: slightly rounded and entire;
    Posterior margin: sharply pointed;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, low anterior and indistinct posterior colliculi;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Ostium: extremely short and compressed, very high, more extended dorsally than ventrally, the posterior rim is nearly straight and vertical;
    Cauda: anteriorly narrow, moderately deep, slightly concave, turning upward meeting the posterior, downturned portion of the cauda in a right angle. The downturned portion of the cauda is oriented diagonally to the posterior ventral margin, close to the tip.;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;
    Collum: absent;
    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over anterior portion of the cauda;
    Crista inferior: poorly developed under ostium, well developed under cauda;
    Dorsal depression: absent;
