Morphologic Description:

    Otolith shape: oval becoming rectangular;
    Thickness: very thick;
    Form: -Mesial convex;
    Form: -Lateral convex;
    Dorsal margin: slightly flat;
    Dorsal margin sculpture: irregular;
    Ventral margin: gently rounded and entire;
    Posterior margin: slightly straight and entire;
    Sulcus acusticus: ostial, heterosulcoid;
    Colliculum: heteromorph, low anterior and indistinct posterior colliculi;
    Pseudocolliculum: absent;
    Ostium: trapezium-shaped and very quadrangular in its anterior part;
    Cauda: short, narrow and deep, strongly bent ventrally;
    Ostio-caudal differentiation: dorso-ventrally constricted;

    Crista superior: poorly developed over ostium, ridge-like over cauda;
